Operation "Rescue Quinn the Eskie" is complete, and we are happy to report that the sweet eskie boy is now free and in the safe and loving arms of his family in Albuquerque. From California to New Mexico (via a stop over for a mini-eskie (and eskie mom) meet up in Phoenix), Special Agents Prinnie, Digby, Sammy Ruff Stuff and Koala Run Safe successfully completed the mission with the help of so many.
Casper, Nicky and Buddy's mom, Gwyn, and Comet and Blu's girl, Lacy, met Prinnie's BFF Siku, Prinnie, Digby, Digby's BFF Dragon and their humans in the Phoenix area for a fun afternoon of eskie bliss - even the non-eskies were allowed to be pretend-eskies for the day. It was a true honor to meet these amazing eskie moms! Prinnie and Digby were so touched when Ms. Gwyn and Ms. Lacy each brought all of the eskies (and honorary eskies too) special presents, and want to send a big "Thank you" to them both for their generosity and thoughtfulness.
It was a wonderful day of meeting new friends, canine and human. Unfortunately, the hours passed too quickly, and we were all on our way back to our respective homes and routines, with the rescued eskie boy heading out on the final leg of his journey as he basked in the love of his new forever family.
Quinn will always hold a special place in our hearts, and even Prinnie and Digby have asked when we can see him again (after all, he IS our step-brother, they barked!). "Not soon enough", I replied.

So much joy! We've loved every moment of it! Even though we've not been blogging or commenting much (shameful moma!) we've been following the adventures and travels and gatherings and we've been enjoying every moment of them. Thank you for helping make this all possible. It makes us very happy.
