My parents had a new couch delivered yesterday, and I'm not very happy about it. I am actually terrified of it! It's NOT a normal couch. It has these electronic gadgets on the side that make it recline, and they make noise when they push the buttons. It scares me so much that I find my mom and jump into her lap for comfort. Last night, I shook in her arms for six hours straight because the motor monster was trying to get me every time mom got up to get something!Today, mommy tried bribing me to go near it by calling it the "happy couch" and offering me an unlimited supply of treats. I didn't bite - I know I can get treats any time I want just by looking cute. Anyhow, who ever heard of a happy couch? It's evil. Scary and evil. I don't like it. I want our old furniture back. I know they know I don't like change. Why did the store make this couch with a motor monster?? I'm scared.

Sorry. We don't think we can be of much consolation. We both got really really freaked out by the trash bins and recycle bins and trash trucks this morning. Reverted to immediate post-adoption behavior we did. So now we are snoozing in the sun on the floor. Maybe when we wake up all will be well again. You might try that. We're guessing the monster is there to stay.
Just hoping

that sure does sound like a scary sofa! I hope it gets nicer
Your moms picked that sofa out just because they thought you and Digby would like all of the extra space! I would not like the noise either, I bet. But give it a try...maybe they can make all the noise stuff happen BEFORE you jump up and get comfy! Change IS scary but we both tough girls, my BFF! We can adapt to ANYTHING!
Oh boy, that looks like a comfy couch...but I don't know about it moving on it's own. I might be a little suspicious of it too. Once you get on there, I'm sure you'll love it.:)

Are the seats heated? Oliver would like that.
Hugs and yips,

It should have a quiet motor. Is it really loud? It looks nice though. I bet you will love it later! Maybe your Mom should tell you it's like going on a car ride.
