Lasagna Night

Mom and Mommy are perplexed as to how Digby and I know when it's lasagna night. They can't understand how it is that we know to sit (or lay) patiently at the line between the dining room and kitchen and watch intently as they cook up the meat and layer the pasta, cheeses, meat and sauce into the pan. Geesh, it's not rocket science! I'll tell you how we know, but first I have to swear you to secrecy. Don't tell them, OK? You see, we hear Mom and Mommy say the word "lasagna" as they talk about what to cook for dinner. Then we see the lasagna pan, cheeses and other stuff come out and smell the meat and sauce cooking with the Italian seasonings. Brother and I have learned over the years that, if we wait patiently, we get to have a little of the left over noodles smothered with some cheese and sauce. Now that's worth waiting for. Gotta love lasagna night.

Hi Everyone - we'll have to depend on Dad if we want lasagna - or even Stouffers. Mom's cooking leaves a lot to be desired. (Gag us !!!) Maybe she should follow a recipe . . .

Hugs and yips,
Cappy and Oliver

Cheese? Cheese? We've never had lasagna. But if it's got cheese, we know we'd love it.

Don't your parents know you weren't born yesterday? You are master of the English language and you listen to everything your parents say, and you understand it! And of course, lasanga smells yummy!
