Today was what Thanksgiving, in my mind, is all about. The day was filled with great food, beautiful weather, and most importantly, incredible people. The dinner party would later be the same group of us that would share in the recommittment festivities for Sue and Steve over the coming weekend. We had the honor of having real chefs preparing much of the meal, with each of us having some role in the preparation. The honor guard for the upcoming re-nuptuals were all present, including Siku, Dragon, Digby and Prinnie. Each of them played outside as the turkey roasted on the grill. Later that evening, Steve (aka Tom the Turkey Man) gave each of the four-legged celebrators some of the days best food - Turkey! It was a wonderful day - one that dreams are made of.

I still don't know why didn't didn't just leave that turkey carcass on the floor for us! Your mommy makes the world's best apple pie. I was very thankful that my entire family of the heart was with us to share the meal.
