Last night, we decided to load up the "kids" and do something each of us had done as youngsters (yes, there REALLY WAS electricity that long ago) - drive around to look at the Christmas lights adorning our community.
Prinnie and Digby were quite intriqued by the massive amounts of lights of various colors and shapes, the inflated snow men, and silly designs of Disney characters. Some were beautifully done, some were...well....slapped together in a hasty attempt to get something up for Christmas, and some were a little over the top, but very festive. Prinnie was quick to share her thoughts on each decorated house, ranking them by a series of barks. One bark meant that we should move on, but several barks meant that we had to slow down to snap a picture. If we didn't get it just right, she would continue barking until we captured the perfect essence of their holiday decor.
More walks!

Prinnie,
Hello I'm Mack, an Eskimo dog from Atlanta. Are you a toy Eskimo dog? If so, you are really rare. I loved the treats from your humans. My Mommy wanted to order some of your treats for me because I have kidney disease, but she hasn't yet. I will speak to her about that.

Hi Mack,
Thanks for introducing yourself. I love meeting other Eskies. I'm not sure if I'm considered a toy Eskimo or what. My mom and mommy found me at there local shelter where they were volunteering two Christmas' ago and brought me into my new family. I'm 8 years old, am about 13" tall at the shoulders and weigh between 19 and 20 pounds. I'm the queen of the house and I'm so glad to be with my forever family. I'm so glad you like the treats from our Barkery. I think they're pretty special because my people put so much love into them.
Hope to hear from you again soon.
Eskie Hugs,
Prinnie

Wow, Prinnie, we had to drive Richard around the other night after we went out to dinner to do the same thing! He was like a little kid...and we had lots of fun. We did not take pictures, however! You and Digby have some VERY ambitious neighbors.
